Fuji X100

I think it was about 18 months ago that I bought my wife a new camera.  She’d been complaining that she never used the DSLR as it was too big and wanted a super cool point and shoot that still felt like a ‘real’ camera.

So I bought her a Fuji X100.

The coolest retro digital camera ever.

Jay loved it and took some awesome photos with it, but she really doesn’t take many photos anymore, preferring to draw instead.

So I am now free to borrow it.  Huzzar!

Trip to the UK – Part 3

It was still freezing cold, but we refused to be couped up indoors – I only had a week and I wanted to get out and about with the kids as much as possible.

family time

After the wedding, we had a chilled out day, my parents came back to our place for a few hours to see us before they flew back to the UK. We sat about, chatting, replaying wedding memories and watching the kids play. Very cool.

The next day, my mum and dad flew back to England and we went out for lunch by the beach, but the heat was really cranking, over 40C so we didnt stay at the beach for very long. The kids played on the Wii for the rest of the afternoon.

After that, we went to the park just behind the house for a few hours of play
