I hit one of my lard milestones this morning.
10kg lost so far (thats 22lbs for my American friends)
It doesn’t really feel like much has gone, but that’s quite a lot of pork pies and chocolate bars that are no longer around my hips. Well, not hips, middle and chin probably.
So, what is 10kg?
Well, my mountain bike weighs about that.
So does a medium sized car tyre.
And its the same weight as about 35 apples.
Or a sack of potatoes.
Or 5 2 litre bottles of coke.
Or 50 200g bars of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate.
Or, disturbingly, the same as 3 new born babies.
Still some way to go, but it’s nice to be getting such good results with really so little effort.

Good job! What’s you secret? I’ve been cycling to work 3-4 times a week for 4 weeks and I still exactly the same weight!
Hey Richard – its less food that does it – cut the carbs and no snacks. I need to go a bit harder actually, the reduction has tailed off a bit – gonna have to reduce portion sizes a little more and maybe cycle a little too.
